Founded in 1834 the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva is the first and only Four Seasons in Switzerland. Situated in the city centre and on the bank of Lake Geneva, the hotel is one of its historical landmarks and offers a view that encompasses Geneva most significant icons: the Jet d’Eau, the worlds tallest fountain, and the Old Town, where many buildings date back to the 16th century. In 2005 the hotel undertook an inspired restoration plan, engineered by the celebrated French interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon who sought to recapture the spirit of this distinguished neo-classical building. The hotel offers all the services of a luxury premise: 70 bedrooms and 45 suites; luxury Spa; internal swimming pool; fitness center; business center; bar and lounges. At last, but not least, within the hotel the guests can enjoy the Japanese inspired restaurant Izumi, and the Michelin starred restaurant Il Lago, where chef Saverio Sbaragli offers a refined Italian cuisine.
